On Friday, I got to meet one of my blogging buddies!
I never really thought I'd get to meet any of you wonderful people out there in bloggyland, but I did!
I was so excited to meet Gail, from My Repurposed Life.
Gail is such a wonderful lady and is SO talented.
She takes things that a lot of people would take to the trash, and turns them into amazing treasures!
Anyway, the reason I got to meet her is that my mom had these two old windows and she wanted small cabinets built around them.
(Gail is uber talented in that department!)
Soo...my dad, brother and son all took a trip out to her house last weekend to take her all the stuff to build with, and when she was finished, I got to go back with my brother to pick up the cabinets.
I'm going to give you the link to today's post that Gail did on the whole process...just wait till you see how cute the cabinets turned out!! Go HERE, to see them and what she made them from. :)
While you're over there, you have to look at the toddler bed she made that won the big prize at the DIY Club! It's Ahhhmazing!
We did take a picture together, but we had both been working in the yard all day, so neither of us were looking our best, so you guys don't get to peek at that! lol
Hope you guys have a great day, and thanks Gail for being such a wonderful friend!
HUGS!
Missy
Oh and don't forget to come back on Thursday
for my Treasures and Trinkets linky party!
I'll be posting where else we went this weekend!

Missy,
You are so lucky to live so close to Gail. I went over to her blog and looked at the cabinets! They are beautiful. OMG! I have got to have some of those. I have the windows already...just gotta get the courage up to teach myself how to make the cabinets. I don't know a thing about that kind of stuff but I'm willing to learn. I can't wait to see how they look in your house all decorated up!
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
P.S. Thanks for the sweet email. I'm sorry I haven't emailed back. Just been working so much. Meant to go back and do it but thought I'd tell you on here. I hope that I can meet you one day. I haven't met any of my blogger friends yet. That would be great!
Missy, it is so much fun meeting our blogging buddies! Glad you had a good visit!
Missy! It was such a great experience meeting you! You're so sweet and friendly! Too bad we didn't get to have a real visit. Maybe someday I can head your way for some thrifting. (IF I ever get caught up on all my to-do lists)
Can't wait to see pics of the cupboards!
have a great day friend!

Hi Missy!
I couldn't agree more regarding Gail. She is like a "Redoing, Repurposing Thrift Goddess"! LOL She does the most amazing things.
The cabinets turned out beautifully! So fun you were able to put a face to the blog!
Missy,
Glad you had the chance to meet a blogging friend! The 'twins' are beautiful!
