I made this recipe last night for dessert…
so simple and so yummy!
so simple and so yummy!
Take as many apples as you have people…
we only had three last night, so three it was,
and give em’ a good wash!

You’ll need brown sugar, butter, ground cinnamon and cinnamon sticks.
(cinnamon sticks are optional)
Put 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar in each apple.
Cut up 1 Tablespoon of butter for each apple and put inside, along with a cinnamon stick…
You’ll have a pan that looks like this…..
Now generously sprinkle the apples with cinnamon (forgot to take a picture of that..sorry) and bake at 350 degrees, until the apples
are fork tender…
Spoon pan juices over apples when serving…
also tastes amazing with
a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Now ENJOY!
Have a great day!
Missy
Partially core the apples…
don’t go all the way through,
leave a well…about half way down.

Baked apples....Mmmmmmmmmm!
have you ever tried this with pears? Oh so yummy!
My grandma made these for us when we were growing up. They were delicious and they made her whole house smell so good! I miss those days. I'll have to make them one night for my boys. Thanks for bringing this memory to mind.
