Your laundry room looks spectacular! Love your solution to hide the furnace. Beautiful job and now looks up to par with the rest of your lovely home. I am putting this in my inspiration folder. However, my ideal laundry room will feature a wet bar that specializes in martinis. hehehe

  29. I love your laundry room makeover! I completely understand wanting to sleep in there! My favorite part is how you used neutrals for everything and then put in accents with the blues. Easy to change if the mood strikes! Bravo!

  31. Totally love it! Our laundry room/furnace room is in the basement and I've always said I don't "need" it to be looking nice since I use it as a sort of "fix stuff in here when the weather's bad outside" room. But your laundry room is making me lean towards doing up our room nicer! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

  44. Hi Missy,

Your laundry room is so pretty now! I too would enjoy doing laundry in such a space.
Love the colors you selected and wow do those stackables give you so much more room.

The interior designer in me has to ask a question in the name of safety. Is the fabric that you used to cover the furnace flame resistant?

Sorry to be Debby Downer but I would hate for your space to go poof!

    ReplyDelete
  45. To answer a couple of questions. :)
    1. paint color is Tropical Mist from Lowes.
    2. Laura, the curtain didn't have to be flame resistant because that unity doesn't get hot at all...it's more of a return thingy. It has one pipe on the other side, that gets warm, but there's nothing anywhere near it. Thanks for looking out for my safety though, I appreciate it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. oops..meant to say unit doesn't get hot..not unity! lol :)
