Where to go on a mini vacation….. :0)
Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been missing in action on here the last few days, but I hitched a ride with my hubby on a business trip.
He had to go to Toledo, Ohio for work, so the kids and I went along for the ride. We stayed in the Hilton Garden in Levis Commons….a very quaint little place to stay!
This was the view outside our hotel room window, isn’t it cute?!
We enjoyed playing the gigantic game of checkers outside our hotel…..made me feel like a big kid!
We shopped……
and shopped……
and shopped some more! (don’t ya love that sign!)
We completely enjoyed the views…..
We stayed from Tuesday to Saturday and on the way home, we went HERE!!!…………. My very favorite store in the world! (well that and TJ Maxx) lol
We stayed so long, we ended up eating dinner. I got the swedish meatballs and taters…yum yum!
We had a really fun time…….no cooking, no cleaning and no laundry…who could ask for anything more!
Hope ya’ll are having a great day!
Stay tuned to see what else I have finished on my laundry room…it’s getting closer to the big reveal!

Hey Missy..I have been reading your posts, just havent been commenting much lately. I need some laundry room inspiration..hurry up already will ya!! lol Rhonda
It looks like you had a great trip, like you I like to sometimes escape from the routine everyday stuff.
What is it about those meatballs, never eat them at home but they are delicious in the store. I bet you came home with lots of things you never knew you needed. I always do.
Hey Missy....I remember you going up there last year. I really prefer short geta ways myself. We have even gone over night just to shop at IKEA too! In fact, it has been a year since I was there last...I feel the need to go again soon! Stop over and see my rejuvenated garage sale chandy! It just got hung yesterday. Stay cool!~Hugs, Patti
My aunt and uncle and cousins all lived in Toledo many years ago. I remember going there as a kid but I don't remember much else except that we played miniature golf one night. I was probably 9 or 10. I can be sure, though, that there wasn't an IKEA!
It sounds like you had a great time. It's always fun to visit a new place, isn't it?
Ahh, what a great little getaway!!

Mini vacations are the best. Then you don't need another one right after it to rest up at home. ;D Denver is going to have an IKEA soon, so can hardly wait. Went to one in Oakland or San Francisco-can't remember which side of the bay it was on. ♥♫
Oh what a darling little town! I love Ikea but haven't been there in years, looks like you did some good shopping!
Thank you so much for the sweet comment on my tiny kitchen:) I do feel lucky for all that I have and YES...less cleaning!!!
Have a wonderful day Missy:)
Looks and sounds like you were in a little bit of heaven! Gosh, you and I sure do like the same shops!!!
